It may be that there is a very very shallow paddling pool for the kids. if your kids like water I suggest either a swim suit if they are mad and hardy at this time of year, or welly boots and waterproofs for splashing. sometimes there has been a paddling area and sometimes not.
i would recommend wellies, or a change of footwear for outside in case it rains overnight, and is muddy outside.
